Linda Brogan

I use a variety of materials to make 2D and 3D pieces often inspired by my travels in West Africa and my love of African arts. Though my degree is in Fine Art I have been increasingly drawn to Ceramics in my work. I use hand building methods (pinching, coiling and slab building) to produce character pieces often based on faces and masks. The type of clay used means that they can be displayed indoors or outside.

My cats continue to be an inspiration and have modeled for a number of small cat sculptures in clay this year. My Yogacats will also be available in a variety of poses.

Drawings, paintings, cards and giclee prints using images from Mali, Ghana and Morocco will also be displayed.

As well as the North Bristol Art Trail I am a member of
